Daily Tip: Multisite Compatible Super Widgets Plugin Displays Featured Posts

A great new plugin is available in the WordPress repository that will be useful to Multisite networks. It’s called Super Widgets and it lets you display the Title, Featured Image, and Excerpt of a selected post or posts in your sidebar. You can select posts by Blog (multisite), individually, by Post Type, or by Tag/Category/Taxonomy.
Sometimes you’re looking for a plugin to display featured posts from your Multisite blogs, but you can’t find one that includes images as well as categories. This plugin even includes custom post types. If you’re looking for an easy way to display featured posts from one or more of your sites in your Multisite network, this is a flexible, all-inclusive option. Super Widgets is one of those plugins that nearly every site needs.
Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.
