Daily Tip: How to Disable the WordPress Visual Editor

This week we posted a tip for enhancing the visual editor to help you do more while writing posts. If you’re interested to go in the other direction, and want to completely disable the visual editor, here’s a quick snippet that will let you do just that:

add_filter('user_can_richedit' , create_function('' , 'return false;') , 50);

Simpy add that to your functions.php and your post edit screen will only contain the HTML editor.
