Daily Tip: Manage WordPress Multisite Registration Activation with the Unconfirmed Plugin

Unconfirmed is a cool new plugin that will make your life as a multisite network admin much easier. It was written by Boone Gorges for use on the CUNY Academic Commons. The Unconfirmed plugin gives you the ability to manage unactivated users, by either activating them manually or resending the activation email.

After installing this plugin you will get a panel under Network Admin > Users that shows a list of unactivated user registrations. From here you’ll have the option of resending the original activation email, or manually activating the user. If an activation email was accidentally marked by the user’s email as spam or simply deleted, there’s a chance that you will miss the opportunity of gaining a new signup. Download the Unconfirmed plugin today and and you’ll never have to leave new users up to chance.
