Daily Tip: Add Color-Coded Post Statuses to the WordPress Admin

UI Labs is a new experimental plugin that aims to bring a few style and usability improvements to the default WordPress user interface. The first feature included in this beta release is color-coded post statuses – ie. sticky, draft, pending, etc.
If you’re very used to the WordPress dashboard then perhaps you’ve become accustomed to the drab grey interface. I like this plugin, because it adds a helpful splash of color. The color-coded post statuses makes the post screen a bit more readable. Users can quickly differentiate between statuses at a glance and that makes the experience of using the platform just a little better.
You can download UI Labs from the WordPress plugin repository.
Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.
