What is WPML?

WPML is a plugin that allows you to build multilingual sites with WordPress, allowing you to translate every aspect of your site, right from within the WordPress admin panel. You’ll be able to translate pages, posts, custom types, taxonomy, menus and even the text of your WordPress theme.

Combine WPML with MarketPress and suddenly you have an e-commerce store with a global presence.

What you’ll need to set up a multilingual store:

• Install MarketPress 2.1.2 or above
• Install WPML 2.3.3 or above
• Install WPML-Marketpress

WPML-MarketPress provides you with the ability to translate MarketPress products, product categories and product tags. You can also translate the complete UI, custom URL slugs, emails, and messages.

For example, if you’re translating your store settings, you can change /store/products/ to /compra/productos/.
