Daily Tip: Add a Customizable ScrollTo Top Button to Your WordPress Site

Do you have some lengthy pages on your WordPress site? Sometimes a blog post or archives page can have your visitor scrolling for what seems like an eternity. Keep them interacting with your content by adding a convenient ScrollTo the top button. The new ScrollTo Top plugin uses jQuery to smoothly scroll the user’s browser to the top of the page. You can even turn on the document scroll event to fade the icon in and out when the user scrolls far enough down the page and up again so that the button remains unobtrusive in the user’s experience.
Select from a number of attractive buttons or upload your own. The ScrollTo Top options also allow you to select which corner the icon should appear in and the distance from the corner. If you don’t want the pain of incorporating this jQuery functionality into your theme from scratch, this plugin offers an easy way to get the job done.
Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.
