Google Toolbar Plugin

May 31, 2008

The Google Toolbar Plugin gives your readers the ability to put your RSS feed on their Google Toolbar!

Current Version: 2.0

Download: Download The Google Toolbar Plugin Here

WordPress Compatibility: Tested on 2.0+ (It’s just a plugin, so it should work on older versions as well)

Installation and Usage: View The Install PDF File

Of Note: This is an old plugin, and isn’t widget-ready yet, so you’ll have to add some template tags to make it work. I’ll try to take care of that when I can.

Known Bugs:
None

Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.

    two questions from newbie.

    1) If people are reading you/your posts from an RSS feed, then they are not clicking on your site, right? Ergo, no direct ranking benefit. Am I right?

    2) If I enter my web page above, does it count as link back? If yes, great; if not, why bother?

Not everyone can be as insightful as you Jason, but I am working towards that goal.
